Fonseka moves out of hotel
General (Retired) Sarath Fonseka has left the hotel in which he had been staying since yesterday and moved to the private residence at Queen’s Road, sources told media a short while ago.
It was reported yesterday (Jan. 26) that General Fonseka along with his political associates had reserved 70 rooms at a hotel in Colombo. Earlier today he met the media at a corridor of the hotel and had stated that his life was at threat if he moved out.
He did not participate at the meeting held by the Elections Commissioner to announce the final results of the Presidential election held on Tuesday.
