UPFA Goons Commence 'Operations' From Kegalle

The residence of Lawyer Ranjith Abeysinghe , DNA candidate for Kegalle District, was attacked by thugs today (6th) at 12.30 a.m.

The thugs have been identified as supporters of a UPFA candidate for Kegalle District. The goons of UPFA candidate Lalith Dissanayake that carried out the attack have damaged the residence as well as Mr. Abeysinghe's vehicle.  

On the day nominations were presented (26th February) goons of Lalith Dissanayake had come to Mr. Abeysinghe's residence and threatened him. That night they had thrown stones at the house. Despite making a complaint regarding the first attack at Aranayake Police, no action has been taken by the Police. Mr. Abeysinghe has made another complaint at Aranayake Police regarding today's attack.
